This seminar is being held at a key time as the Audio-Visual Media Services Directive (AVMSD), is currently being revised by the European Institutions.

The seminar will be conducted over two sessions.
The Morning Session, opened by Lynn Boylan MEP and chaired by Suzanne Costello, CEO Alcohol Action Ireland, will examine how Member States are protecting children from alcohol marketing.
The Afternoon Session, chaired by Mariann Skar, Secretary General Eurocare, will explore the political challenges establishing regulations to protect children from alcohol marketing at a national and supranational level.
