The Government has an opportunity through the upcoming National Substance Misuse Strategy to ban alcohol advertising and regulate access to alcohol in order to reduce the amount of alcohol society consumes, the national charity for alcohol-related issues has challenged.
Alcohol Action Ireland Director Fiona Ryan said: “The Government has an opportunity with the upcoming National Substance Misuse Strategy to put words into action and reduce the amount of alcohol we drink in society.”
