Exploring the public face and hidden harm of alcohol-related crime in Ireland

When it comes to alcohol, crime and anti-social behaviour, it is individuals, families and communities that are left picking up the pieces. Alcohol Action Ireland’s upcoming conference, ‘Alcohol – Where’s the Harm?’, will examine the relationship between alcohol and “public” crime in Ireland. It will also seek to explore “hidden” crime – sexual violence and domestic violence.
Conference will be opened by Minister RóisÃn Shortall.
The conference will be free to allow a maximum number of participants to attend. We would ask participants who are in a position to do so, to make a donation to Alcohol Action Ireland via our website www.alcoholireland.ie in order to help us cover our costs.

The conference takes place on Tuesday November 15 in the Royal College of Physicians, Dublin 2.
