Are you concerned about your own drinking or that of someone close to you? If you are seeking help or services for yourself or someone who has a problem with alcohol then you might want to look at our service finder. This is not intended a substitute for contacting your GP but as a starting point in finding out about the help, services and support available.

Some of the services listed also work with people who are having problems with alcohol and other drugs.

If you're looking for a service or support in connection with your own or someone else's drinking, the most important person for you to make contact with is your GP.

She or he will be able to offer you information and advice, and refer you to the support or service best suited to your needs. Some services will only accept referrals from a GP.
